At this moment in time, it’s still a surprise to see smartwatches working well on both the Android and iOS platforms. However, seeing a device which also works well with Windows is amazing. Well, the Oxy smartwatch is a rare exception, as it works well with all platforms, and also offers some interesting functions.
According to the latest reports, Oxy is a good looking, rectangular smartwatch or round, which aims to target the low-medium budget segment on the smartwatch market.
In terms of its software, it’s worth pointing out that the folks behind the device have decided to go ahead with the Elf OS, which is an operating system based on the 5.1 version of Android (Lollipop), which has a strong resemblance to the well-known Android Wear that we’ve seen on so many smartwatches until now.
When it comes down to the hardware that the device has, it comes along with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Ingenics M200 Processor, and a total of 1GB of RAM. Inside, it has 8GB of storage which is used for the OS, but which you can also use for pictures, apps and music. Other than the wide variety of sensors available on the device, users will also be able to listen to music, or conduct phone calls, thanks to the speaker that the smartwatch has.
At this moment in time, the device is still in the design phrase. However, if you’d like to get one, keep in mind the fact that you should be able to find it on Indiegogo.
